SSC Exam 2025: Controversies and Rescheduled Dates

Overview of SSC Exam 2025
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), known as Karmachari Chayan Aayog in Hindi, has recently faced significant scrutiny. Due to ongoing controversies surrounding the SSC exam, candidates have humorously dubbed it the 'Special Scam Commission' on various social media platforms. Allegations of irregularities prompted the SSC to re-administer the exam on August 29, 2025.
Details of the Rescheduled Exam
The re-examination took place across three shifts on a Friday, with approximately 59,500 candidates participating. Protests against the SSC exam had erupted in major cities such as Delhi, Jaipur, and Patna, drawing attention from notable educators like Khan Sir and Neetu Ma'am. This movement gained national traction, sparking widespread public discourse.
The SSC Selection Post Phase 13 exam was initially conducted from July 24 to August 2, 2025, and the re-exam was held on August 29.
Technical Issues and SSC's Response
Candidates had reported technical issues during the SSC Selection Post Phase 13 exam. In response, the SSC took action to identify affected individuals through a comprehensive log analysis. Consequently, city slips for the re-examination were issued on August 22, 2025, followed by the release of admit cards on August 26.
Upcoming SSC CGL Exam
The SSC CGL exam, originally scheduled for August 13, 2025, was postponed due to similar technical difficulties. This exam is now set to take place in September. To enhance the examination process, the SSC has engaged Eduquity Career Technologies as the Exam Conducting Agency (ECA) and has appointed the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) to oversee IT security during the exams.
