Important Updates for SSC Exam 2025



SSC Exam 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has introduced a new feature for candidates taking the Junior Engineer and Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination in 2025. Candidates will now have the flexibility to select their preferred exam date, city, and shift, thanks to the newly implemented self-slot selection system aimed at improving transparency and convenience.


The slot selection will be available for both examinations on different dates. Candidates are encouraged to secure their slots promptly once the selection window opens, rather than waiting until the last moment.


Exam Dates:



  • Junior Engineer Exam 2025: November 10 to 13, 2025

  • SI Delhi Police and CAPF Exam 2025: November 17 to 21, 2025


Steps to Book Your Slot:



  1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

  2. Log in using your registration number and password.

  3. Navigate to the 'My Application' section and select the slot booking option.

  4. Choose your preferred slot from the available dates and shifts in the three cities you selected during your application process.

  5. Submit the one-time password to confirm your selection.


The SSC has emphasized that once a slot is confirmed, it cannot be changed. Candidates who fail to select a slot within the designated timeframe will be assigned a slot automatically based on available seats and their initial preferences.

This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 1,731 positions for Junior Engineers and 5,308 positions for Sub-Inspectors in the Delhi Police and CAPFs.
