Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens. Citizens of Nepal or Bhutan may also apply but need to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.
Age Limit: Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
- For Sub-Inspector positions in Delhi Police and CAPFs: Age must be between 20 and 25 years (born between August 2, 2001, and August 1, 2006).
- For Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF: Age limit is 18 to 30 years (born between August 2, 1996, and August 1, 2008).
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
Educational Qualifications Required
Applicants for general Sub-Inspector posts must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline, which should be completed by September 30, 2026.
