Generally, candidates must have completed Class 12 to apply for SSC CHSL 2026. However, specific educational qualifications are required for certain DEO and DEO Grade ‘A’ positions. For these roles in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and the Ministry of Culture, candidates must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
