Provisional Answer Key for SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Now Available

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the provisional answer key for the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination. Candidates who participated in the exam can assess their responses by accessing the provisional answer key on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. To retrieve the answer key, candidates must input their registration number and password.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam took place at 255 centers nationwide, with more than 2.8 million candidates registered to take part.

Objection Filing Period Until October 19th

Opportunity to Raise Objections

Following the release of the provisional answer key, the SSC has opened a window for candidates to submit objections. Those who disagree with any answers can file their objections until October 19th, 2025, at 9 PM. An objection fee of ₹50 per question will be applicable, and submissions must be made online.

Exam Schedule

The SSC CGL Tier 1 examination was conducted from September 12th to 26th and on October 14th, 2025, across various centers in the country. A total of 14,582 candidates will be selected through this recruitment process. The exam included questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English.
