The CBT will have two sections: Section A will include 80 questions related to the specific trade, while Section B will consist of 20 questions on General Awareness, Aptitude, and topics related to CIL/SECL. The total number of questions will be 100, with each question carrying one mark and no negative marking for incorrect answers.
To pass the selection process, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks: 45 for General and EWS categories, 40 for OBC (NCL) and ESM categories, and 35 for SC/ST categories.
Results will be published on the official SECL website, followed by a provisional merit list for candidates who meet the cutoff. In cases of tied scores, merit will be determined by age, certificate issuance date, and alphabetical order of names.
Those on the merit list will be invited for document verification, where original certificates must be presented. Failure to provide required documents may lead to cancellation of candidature.
Final selection will depend on CBT scores and adherence to reservation policies. Any discrepancies or false information discovered during verification may result in termination of appointment.
