Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements:
Candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognized institution. Those with professional qualifications such as Engineering, Medical, CA, or Cost Accounting are also eligible. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank is required.
Age Restrictions:
Applicants should be between 21 and 30 years old, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories. Proficiency in the local language of the respective circle is also necessary.
Selection Process Overview
The selection for the SBI CBO positions will occur in four stages:
1. An online examination worth 170 marks, comprising an objective test (120 marks) and a descriptive test (50 marks).
2. Document verification.
3. An interview carrying 50 marks.
4. A local language proficiency test.
Salary and Fees
Candidates selected for the role will be placed in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I, with a starting basic salary of ₹48,480 per month. Additional benefits include Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), petrol allowance, and medical facilities. The application fee is set at ₹750 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwBD applicants are exempt from fees.
