SBI Announces Increased Vacancies for Specialist Cadre Officers
New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) has revealed significant updates regarding the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) for the 2025-26 cycle. The bank has increased the number of vacancies, creating a substantial opportunity for candidates seeking government jobs. A total of 1,146 positions will now be filled in the e-Wealth Management cadre, a rise from the previous count, allowing more candidates to apply.
Extended Deadline for Online Applications
SBI has also extended the deadline for online applications. Interested and eligible candidates can now submit their applications until January 10, 2026. The application process is entirely online, and candidates must fill out the form on SBI's official website. It is crucial to apply on time, as no applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Eligibility Criteria for Applications
VP Wealth (SRM) Position
For this role, candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with an MBA in banking, finance, or marketing. Additionally, possessing professional certifications such as NISM, CFP, or CFA will be advantageous. Candidates should also have a minimum of six years of sales and marketing experience in a reputable bank, wealth management firm, or asset management company (AMC).
AVP Wealth (RM) Position
A graduate degree is mandatory for this position as well. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in finance, banking, or marketing, along with NISM/CFP/CFA certifications, will receive preference. Furthermore, applicants should have three to four years of work experience in the banking or wealth management sector.
Customer Relationship Executive Position
For this role, candidates must have completed their graduation. Additionally, a valid driving license for a two-wheeler is required, as the job involves fieldwork.
Application Fee Details
Candidates applying for the SBI SCO recruitment 2025 must pay a fee based on their category. There is no application fee for SC, ST, and PWD candidates. However, candidates from the general, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹750. This fee must be submitted online and is non-refundable once paid.
Scoring Scheme
In the recruitment examination, candidates will receive two points for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers, and no points will be awarded for unanswered questions.
