SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Dates Announced
The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the dates for the preliminary examination aimed at recruiting Junior Associates, also known as Clerks. The exams are set to take place on September 20, 21, and 27, 2025, at various locations nationwide. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 6,589 positions.
Exam Structure and Format
Candidates who successfully clear the preliminary exam will advance to the main examination. Following the Mains, those who qualify will undergo a local language assessment. The preliminary exam will consist of questions covering English language skills, numerical ability, and reasoning. A total of 100 questions will be presented, with a maximum score of 100 marks, and candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the test.
Admit Card Release Information
As per reports, the admit cards for the preliminary examination are expected to be available approximately 4 to 5 days prior to the exam dates. Registered candidates can download their hall tickets from the official SBI website using their application number and date of birth. It is important to note that entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without a valid admit card.
Recruitment Notification and Eligibility Criteria
The advertisement for this recruitment was published on August 5, 2025, with the application process commencing on August 6 and concluding on August 26. Candidates are required to hold a graduation degree as the minimum educational qualification. The age limit for applicants is set between 20 and 28 years, with age relaxations of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC and ST candidates. Additionally, candidates with disabilities are granted a 10-year age relaxation.
