This initiative will fill a total of 710 positions across three distinct categories: Trade Apprentices, Technician Apprentices, and Graduate Apprentices. Available Positions

The recruitment drive includes:


1. **ITI Trade Apprentices**: 516 positions available.


2. **Diploma Apprentices**: 124 positions available.


3. **Graduate Apprentices**: 70 positions available.


The ITI category encompasses trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Welder, and Electronics Mechanic, among others. Diploma and Graduate Apprenticeships are offered in fields like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Metallurgy, BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, and BBA.

Candidates must submit their applications for the SAIL-BSP apprenticeship by October 20, 2026. It is essential for applicants to register on the National Apprenticeship Portal before completing the SAIL-BSP recruitment process. Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?


Candidates who have completed their ITI, Diploma, or Graduation as regular students in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 28 years as of October 31, 2026, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories.


Ineligibility:


Individuals who have previously undergone an apprenticeship at any institution or have more than one year of work experience are not eligible for this recruitment. It is crucial for candidates to thoroughly review the eligibility requirements detailed in the official recruitment notification.


Stipend Information

Monthly Stipend:


Selected Trade Apprentices (those with ITI qualifications) will receive a stipend of ₹9,600 per month, while Diploma and Graduate Apprentices will earn ₹12,300 monthly. The apprenticeship duration and other conditions will adhere to the relevant regulations.


Walk-in Details

Document Verification Walk-in:


The walk-in for document verification will occur from October 27 to November 21, 2026, based on the specific trade. Candidates should arrive between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM at Room No. 123, HRDC, Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh-490001.


Required Documents

Documents Needed:


During the walk-in, candidates must present original educational certificates, a caste certificate, passport-sized photographs, an Aadhaar card, and a copy of their registration from the NAPS or NATS portal. It is mandatory to show original certificates during the verification process.
