RRB Technician Recruitment: A significant announcement has been made for individuals aspiring to join Indian Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is preparing to initiate a recruitment campaign to fill 6,565 positions. This includes 352 openings for Grade 1 and 6,242 for Grade 2 roles. The recruitment will be conducted on a zonal basis. A preliminary notice has already been released, and the comprehensive official notification is anticipated soon. The application window will open on June 30 and close on July 29.

Who Can Apply?
The RRB is looking for candidates for Technician roles within the Railways, covering both Grade 1 and Grade 2 positions. Applicants for Grade 1 must be between 18 and 33 years old and possess a graduate or postgraduate degree in Physics, Computer Science, or IT. For Grade 2 roles, candidates aged 18 to 30 years are eligible.

Application Fee Details
Application Fee Payable at the Time of Submission
Applicants for the Railway Technician positions must pay an application fee. The fee is set at ₹500 for candidates from General, EWS, and OBC categories. For SC and ST candidates, the fee is ₹250, which is also applicable to female candidates across all categories. An additional fee of ₹250 is charged for any corrections made in the application form. Payments can be made online during the application process using UPI, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, or IMPS.
Examination Process
Examination Process
The selection process for the Railway Technician recruitment will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for applicants who successfully submit their applications. This will be followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. A final merit list will be compiled after these stages.
