The RRB NTPC UG Result for 2026 has been published, marking the conclusion of the second stage of the CBT-2 for positions under the NTPC Undergraduate category. Those who participated in the CBT-2 held on September 17, 2026, can now view their results, scorecards, and cut-off marks online. This recruitment drive aims to fill 3,058 vacancies, with 45,898 candidates having appeared for this stage of the examination.
Zone-wise Cut-off Marks
The RRB has provided cut-off marks for this examination categorized by railway zones and specific posts. For example, the cut-off for the RRB Ranchi NTPC UG CBT-2 is set at 86.66 for the General category, 78.84 for SC, and 86.08 for OBC. Candidates from other zones, including Mumbai, Patna, Ajmer, Kolkata, and Prayagraj, can find their respective cut-off marks on the relevant regional websites.
Upcoming Typing Skill Test
As per announcements from RRB Ajmer and other regional offices, candidates who excelled in the CBT-2 and were selected based on merit will proceed to the next phase: the Computer-Based Typing Skill Test. This test is tentatively scheduled for November 27, 2026. It is important to note that passing this typing skill test does not guarantee employment; the final selection will depend on performance in both the CBT-2 and the CBT-ST.
Admit Card Release Information
The Railway Board has assured candidates that all necessary details regarding the examination will be communicated promptly. A 'city intimation slip' indicating the assigned examination city is expected to be available on the official website about 10 days before the test. The admit card will be issued four days prior to the exam date, and candidates will receive updates via SMS and email.
Shortlisting and Reservation Guidelines
Candidates have been shortlisted for the CBT-ST based on a merit list created from their CBT-2 scores, while also considering the cut-off marks from CBT-1. Those who have qualified under reservation categories such as OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, PwBD, or Ex-Servicemen will continue to be recognized under their respective categories throughout the selection process.
