RRB JE CBT 2025 Exam Date: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has unveiled the timetable for the initial stage of the Computer-Based Test (CBT-I) under CEN 05/2025. This examination aims to recruit candidates for the positions of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The recruitment process is being managed by various Railway Recruitment Boards nationwide.
Exam Dates for RRB JE CBT-I
RRB JE CBT-I Exam Schedule:
As per the notification from the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, the CBT-I will take place over multiple days and shifts in February and March 2026. A total of 2,570 positions are available through this recruitment drive.
The CBT-I for candidates registered under CEN 05/2025 is scheduled for February 19, 2026, February 20, 2026, and March 3, 2026.
Admit Card and Exam City Details
Exam City Information and Admit Card:
The Railway Recruitment Board has announced that candidates can download their exam city details, exam date, and travel authority for SC/ST candidates from the respective RRB's official website, which will be available 10 days prior to the examination.
The e-call letter (admit card) will be accessible for download four days before the exam date mentioned in the exam city information.
Aadhaar Verification Process
Important Aadhaar Verification Information:
Candidates will undergo biometric verification linked to their Aadhaar before entering the examination center. It is essential for candidates to present their original Aadhaar card or a printed version of their e-verified Aadhaar.
The Railway Recruitment Board recommends that candidates ensure their Aadhaar is unlocked in the UIDAI system to prevent any issues during identity verification at the examination venue.

The CEN JE Recruitment CEN 05/2025 notification was published on September 29, 2025. The online application window was open from October 31, 2025, to December 10, 2025. A total of 2,570 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary starting at ₹35,400, according to the Level-6 pay scale.
