A short notification has been released by RRB regarding the recruitment of Section Controllers under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) 04/2025. This initiative aims to fill over 300 vacancies across various zonal railways. The application process is set to commence on September 15, 2025.

Candidates interested in applying must submit their applications by October 14, 2025.

Salary Information

Selected candidates will receive a starting salary of ₹35,400, classified under Level 6, along with additional allowances.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB Section Controller

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized institution.

Age Limit (as of January 1, 2026): The minimum age for applicants is 20 years, while the maximum age is capped at 33 years. Age relaxation will be provided according to government regulations for reserved categories.

Application Fees

Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500. In contrast, SC/ST/Female/Divyang candidates will need to pay a reduced fee of ₹250.

Selection Process

The selection for the RRB Section Controller positions will involve multiple stages. Initially, candidates will undergo two computer-based tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2), which will include objective questions to evaluate their knowledge and skills.
