Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Recruitment 2025: The RPSC has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Director and Senior Scientific Officer roles. The online application process will commence on December 29, 2025, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until January 27, 2026. A total of 28 vacancies are available through this recruitment initiative.


Eligibility Criteria

Who is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must hold an M.Sc. degree in relevant fields such as Zoology, Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology. Additional eligibility requirements set by the commission must also be met.


The age requirements stipulate a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 40 years. Relaxations in age limits are available for candidates from reserved categories: 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwD candidates.


Application Fee Structure

Application Fees:
All applicants are required to pay an application fee. For candidates in the general category, the fee is Rs. 600, while those in the SC and ST categories will pay Rs. 400.


Examination Details

Exam Pattern:
The written examination will feature 150 multiple-choice questions, totaling 150 marks. Candidates will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam. A penalty of one-third of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Successful candidates in this stage will advance to the next phase of selection.


Salary Information

Salary Structure:
Selected candidates for the Assistant Director role will receive compensation under Pay Matrix Level L-16, while those appointed as Senior Scientific Officers will be under Pay Matrix Level L-15. During the probation period, candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary as per state government regulations.
