RPSC RAS Recruitment Notification Released
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially announced the RAS Recruitment 2026, which pertains to the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination. The notification was published on May 27, and the application process is currently open. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the RPSC's official website. The last date for application submissions is July 3, 2026. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 607 vacancies across various state and subordinate services.
Breakdown of Available Positions
Among the 607 positions available, 192 are designated for state services, which include roles in the Rajasthan Administrative Service, Rajasthan Police Service, Accounts Service, and other departments. The remaining 415 positions are allocated for subordinate services, such as Tehsildar, Cooperation, Devasthan, Labour Welfare, and Social Justice and Empowerment.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any field from a recognized university. Those in their final year of study may also apply but must provide proof of graduation before participating in the Main examination or interview.
Age Requirements: Applicants should be between 21 and 40 years old. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government regulations.

Application Fees
The application fee is set at ₹600 for General (unreserved) candidates and those from the 'creamy layer' of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes. Candidates from reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections, Sahariya Primitive Tribe, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), are required to pay a reduced fee of ₹400. Payments must be made online.
Selection Process Overview
The selection for this recruitment will occur in three phases: the Preliminary Examination, the Main Examination, and the Interview. The Preliminary Examination will serve as a qualifying test, while the scores from the Main Examination and Interview will determine the final merit list. The Rajasthan Civil Services Preliminary Examination is scheduled for November 29, 2026.
