RPF Constable PET/PST 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the schedule for the physical examination for candidates selected in the RPF Constable recruitment 2025. Those who pass the Computer Based Test (CBT) will proceed to the next stages, which include the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV). This phase is essential for assessing the candidates' physical capabilities and standards.


The physical tests will be conducted from November 13 to December 6, 2025, at various regional centers across the country. Candidates can download their exam center details, dates, and reporting information from the official RRB website or the relevant RRB portal. During this period, candidates will be evaluated on their running, long jump, high jump, and physical measurements.


RPF Constable PET 2025: Requirements for Physical Efficiency Test

The PET assesses candidates through running, long jump, and high jump. Male candidates must complete a 1600-meter run in 5 minutes and 45 seconds, while female candidates are required to finish an 800-meter run in 3 minutes and 40 seconds. Additionally, males must achieve a long jump of 14 feet and a high jump of 4 feet, whereas females need to clear 9 feet in long jump and 3 feet in high jump. Ex-servicemen are exempt from the PET but must participate in the PMT.

RPF Constable PMT 2025: Physical Measurement Standards

The PMT will measure candidates' height and chest for male applicants. The height requirement is set at 165 cm for general category males and 157 cm for females. For SC/ST candidates, the height is 160 cm for males and 152 cm for females. The chest measurement for males is specified as 77 to 82 cm.
