Results Announced for IB Junior Intelligence Officer Recruitment 2025
IB JIO-II Tech Result 2025 Released
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has officially announced the results for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (JIO-II/Tech) recruitment examination for the year 2025. This examination aimed to fill 394 vacancies within the Technical Cadre of the Intelligence Bureau. Candidates Selected for Skill Test and Interview
As per the official announcement from the IB, candidates who performed well in the written examination/computer-based test conducted on October 15, 2025, have been shortlisted for the subsequent skill test and interview. Notifications will be sent to the selected candidates via email and SMS.

Timeline of the Recruitment Process

Breakdown of IB JIO Vacancies
The recruitment drive will fill a total of 394 positions, categorized as follows:
- 157 posts for the Unreserved category
- 117 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC)
- 32 posts for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
- 60 posts for Scheduled Castes (SC)
- 28 posts for Scheduled Tribes (ST)
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates were required to possess a diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Those with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), were also eligible.
Age Limit: Candidates needed to be between 18 and 27 years old as of the application deadline, September 14, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.
Application Fee Structure
The application fee was set at ₹650 for candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories, while it was ₹550 for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disabilities, and female candidates.
