Application Timeline for UCEED and CEED 2027
IIT Bombay has initiated the registration for UCEED and CEED 2027, starting from October 19, 2026. Candidates can submit their applications through the official websites. The last date to apply without incurring a late fee is October 31, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for CEED 2027
CEED 2027 is open to candidates aiming for postgraduate design programs like M.Des. and PhD in Design. Applicants must hold a graduate degree, diploma, or a postgraduate degree of at least three years post-Class 12. Those appearing for their final exams by July 2027 are also eligible. Additionally, candidates who will complete a five-year Government Diploma in Art by July 2027 can apply. There is no age limit for CEED 2027.
Design Opportunities through UCEED 2027
UCEED provides pathways to four-year B.Des. programs at various IITs, including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Eligibility for UCEED 2027 is limited to candidates taking their Class 12 exams for the first time in 2026 or 2027. Students from Science, Commerce, and Arts/Humanities streams can apply. Candidates must adhere to the age criteria and can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
