RCF Vacancy 2026: The Rail Coach Factory (RCF) located in Kapurthala has released a recruitment notification for 23 positions aimed at sportspersons under the Sports Quota for the 2026-27 period. This initiative provides eligible athletes from various sports disciplines a chance to gain employment with Indian Railways. Interested candidates can apply through offline methods. Eligibility Criteria
Know all application conditions
Level-1 Post: Candidates must have completed the 10th grade. ITI qualifications, equivalent qualifications, or the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT are also acceptable.
Level-2 Posts: Candidates should have passed the 10th grade and must possess an ITI qualification or an Act Apprenticeship Certificate from NCVT in the relevant trade.
Level-4/5 Posts: A graduation degree from a recognized university is required. Additionally, candidates must have typing skills in Hindi or English on a computer.

For the Rail Coach Factory Sports Quota recruitment, candidates from General, OBC, and other categories must pay an application fee of ₹500. Those who attend the trials will receive a refund of ₹400 (after bank charges). Candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-servicemen, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), women, minorities, and the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will pay ₹250. They will receive a refund of ₹200 (after bank charges) upon participating in the trials.

Selection Process
Candidates will be evaluated based on a total of 100 marks. The breakdown is as follows: 50 marks for sports achievements, 40 marks for sports skills, physical fitness, and coach performance during trials, and 10 marks for educational qualifications. Those who excel in the selection process will be included in the final merit list.
