RBI Grade B Recruitment Announcement



The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially announced the recruitment for Grade B Officer positions, with the application process starting today, April 29, 2026.


Details of the Recruitment Drive

This recruitment initiative is a prime opportunity for young individuals aspiring to secure a government job and build a solid career. The Grade B examination is recognized as one of the most esteemed banking assessments in India.


Number of Vacancies

Approximately 60 positions will be filled through this recruitment drive. The application window will remain open until May 20, 2026. Interested candidates can submit their applications online via the official RBI website.


Eligibility Criteria

For Officer Grade B (DR) General Posts:


Candidates must hold a graduate degree with at least 60% marks.


For SC, ST, and PwD Candidates:


Graduates with a minimum of 50% marks or post-graduates with at least 55% marks are eligible. Additionally, SC, ST, and PwD candidates can apply with passing marks in post-graduation.


Age Requirements

Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories.


Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through the following stages:


1. Preliminary Examination (Prelims)


2. Main Examination (Mains)


3. Interview


Examination Schedule

The preliminary examination is tentatively scheduled for June 13, 2026, while the mains examination will take place in July 2026.


Salary Package

The initial basic salary for the selected candidates will be ₹35,150 per month. In addition to this, various allowances, including Dearness Allowance (DA), will result in a total starting salary of approximately ₹83,254 per month.
