Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and experience requirements for various positions under the RBI Lateral Recruitment 2025.
- Data Scientist (DIT): A Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Finance, or Economics is required. B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science) degree holders are also eligible. A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution is mandatory.
- Data Engineer: Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Sc./M.Sc./M.Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics) or MCA/equivalent degree, along with at least 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit and Selection Process
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 25 and 40 years old, with a maximum age limit of 62 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.
Selection Process: There will be no written examination. The selection will involve primary screening/shortlisting, document verification, and an interview, leading to final selection. Successful candidates will be appointed on a full-time contract basis.
