Overview of NHM Pre-DV Results

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced the Pre-DV results for four recruitment positions under the National Health Mission (NHM). Notably, in one of these recruitments, there were no successful candidates despite a sufficient number of applications. This trend was also observed in two other recruitments, raising concerns among officials.

Understanding Pre-DV Results

The Pre-DV result is a preliminary outcome released after the written and other examinations, prior to the document verification stage. It is determined based on the scores from these assessments. The final results are confirmed only after the document verification process is completed.

Details of NHM Recruitment Results

The Pre-DV results for the NHM positions are as follows:

1. **Biomedical Engineer**: 54 candidates took the exam for 48 positions, but none qualified.

2. **Rehab Worker**: Out of 708 candidates for 633 positions, only 39 passed.

3. **Audiologist**: 65 candidates appeared for 70 roles, with only 15 qualifying.

4. **Senior Counselor**: This position saw more candidates qualifying than available roles.

Concerns Raised by RSSB Chairman

RSSB Chairman Alok Raj has expressed his concerns regarding the low qualification rates. He took to social media to question the reasons behind the poor performance, wondering if there were questions that fell outside the syllabus, although there were very few objections raised.

Cutoff Trends in Rajasthan Recruitment

The recent RAS Main 2024 exam also highlighted a significant cutoff of 26%. This trend of decreasing cutoffs in Rajasthan's recruitment processes is becoming a pressing issue. The results for the RAS Main Exam were released recently, and successful candidates will now move on to the interview stage for various state administrative roles, including that of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM).

New Rules for Assistant Professor Recruitment

In a recent policy change, candidates who scored below 40% in the written exam for Assistant Professor positions in Rajasthan will now be disqualified. This change comes after previous selections allowed candidates with as low as 10% to qualify.
