Overview of NHM Pre-DV Results

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced the Pre-DV results for four recruitment positions under the National Health Mission (NHM). Notably, in one recruitment, despite a sufficient number of applications, no candidates managed to qualify. This issue is echoed in two of the other three recruitments as well, raising concerns from the RSSB Chairman.

Understanding Pre-DV Results

The Pre-DV result is a preliminary outcome released after the written and other examinations for a recruitment process, prior to the document verification stage. It is determined based on the scores from these examinations. The final results are then issued after the document verification process is completed.

Details of NHM Recruitment Pre-DV Results

The Pre-DV results for the four NHM recruitments indicate that:

1. For 48 biomedical engineer positions, 54 candidates took the exam, but none qualified.

2. Out of 708 candidates for 633 rehab worker roles, only 39 passed the Pre-DV stage.

3. In the case of 70 audiologist positions, 65 candidates appeared, with only 15 qualifying.

4. Conversely, for the Senior Counselor role, more candidates qualified than the available positions.

Concerns Raised by RSSB Chairman

RSSB Chairman Alok Raj has expressed his concerns regarding the low qualification rates. He took to social media to question the reasons behind the poor performance, asking if there were any out-of-syllabus questions, although he noted that there were very few objections raised.

Cutoff Trends in Rajasthan Recruitment

The recent RAS Main 2024 exam also highlighted a significant cutoff of 26%. The declining cutoffs in Rajasthan's recruitment processes have become a pressing issue. The results for the Rajasthan Administration Service (RAS) Main Exam 2024 were released recently, with successful candidates now moving on to the interview stage for various state administrative roles, including SDM.

New Rules for Assistant Professor Recruitment

In a recent policy change, candidates who scored below 40% in the written exam for Assistant Professor positions in Rajasthan will now be disqualified. This decision follows a previous trend where candidates with as low as 10% were selected.
