Rajasthan Staff Selection Board Recruitment Announcement



The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has commenced the online application process for the Jamadar Grade-II roles. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications through the official RSSB website. A total of 72 positions are available, with 64 allocated for non-Scheduled Areas and 8 for Scheduled Areas. The deadline for applications is November 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM.


Application Fees


Candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes are required to pay an application fee of ₹600. For SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled candidates from Rajasthan, the fee is reduced to ₹400.


Eligibility Requirements


Applicants must have completed Class 12 from an accredited institution. Additionally, they should hold a certificate, degree, or diploma in Computer Science and fulfill other specified eligibility criteria. Proficiency in Hindi written in the Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthani culture is also necessary.


Age Restrictions


Candidates must be no older than 40 years to apply. Age relaxation is applicable: a 5-year extension for SC, ST, OBC, Economically Weaker Section male candidates, and General Category female candidates from Rajasthan. Female candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and Economically Weaker Sections are eligible for a 10-year age relaxation.


Examination Format


The examination will feature 100 questions worth 100 marks, covering topics such as General Knowledge, Social Studies, Geography, Arts and Culture, Daily Science, Mathematics, and Current Affairs. The test duration is two hours, with a penalty of one-third of a mark for incorrect answers.
