The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has officially announced the recruitment for Agriculture Supervisor positions. This presents a significant opportunity for individuals aspiring to become Agriculture Supervisors in Rajasthan. The application process for 1,100 available positions will commence on January 13th and will remain open until February 11th.

Candidates must submit their application fees by February 11th, with the option to make corrections to their application forms available until February 14th.

Application Fee Structure

The application fees differ based on candidate categories: General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) candidates are required to pay ₹600. In contrast, candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories within Rajasthan will pay ₹400.

Required Educational Qualifications

Applicants for the Agriculture Supervisor roles must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized institution in India.

Age Requirements

The age criteria for applicants stipulate a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 40 years. Candidates from special categories will benefit from age relaxation: SC, ST, and General female candidates will receive a five-year extension, while SC and ST female candidates from Rajasthan will enjoy a ten-year relaxation.

Exam Format

The examination will feature 100 multiple-choice questions totaling 300 marks, encompassing topics such as General Hindi, General Knowledge of Rajasthan, History and Culture, Agronomy, Horticulture, and Animal Husbandry. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours, with a penalty of one-third of a mark for each incorrect answer.
