Admit Cards Now Available for Senior Teacher Recruitment Exam

A significant update has emerged for the thousands of candidates aspiring to become senior teachers in Rajasthan's government schools. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the Second Grade Teacher Recruitment Exam 2026. Candidates who have applied can now download their admit cards using their SSO ID or application number. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 10,537 positions.

Exam Schedule and Important Details

According to the commission, the examination will take place from July 12 to July 18, 2026, at various centers across Rajasthan in offline mode. Candidates are advised to thoroughly check all the details mentioned on their admit cards before the exam.

How to Download the Admit Card

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official RPSC website. They will need to enter their SSO ID or application number along with other required details. After downloading, it is crucial to print the admit card and keep it safe, as it will be required at the examination center.

Exam Timing and Format

As per the schedule released by the commission, the exams will be conducted in two shifts from July 12 to July 18. The first shift will commence at 10:00 AM, while the second shift will start at 3:00 PM. Approximately 1.2 million candidates are expected to participate in this recruitment examination, which will be conducted using pen and paper.

New OMR Sheet Guidelines

This year, there are significant changes regarding the OMR sheets. Each question will now include four options along with a fifth option. If a candidate chooses not to answer a question, they must mark the fifth option. To accommodate this new rule, the commission will provide an additional 10 minutes for each paper. Additionally, a one-third (1/3) negative marking policy will be in effect.

Punctuality is Key

RPSC has made it clear that candidates will only be allowed entry into the examination center up to 60 minutes before the exam starts. No candidate will be permitted entry after the designated time. As security checks and identity verification may take time, candidates are advised to arrive at the examination center well in advance.

Essential Documents to Bring

It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit card along with a physical Aadhaar card and a colored passport-sized photograph to the examination center. Additionally, candidates should carefully read the reporting time, examination center details, and all instructions provided on the call letter to avoid any inconvenience on the exam day.
