Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission Announces Teacher Recruitment



The Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission (RSSB) has initiated the registration process for the REET Mains Primary Teacher roles starting November 7. Aspiring candidates for the Primary Teacher positions (Classes 1 to 5) in Rajasthan can submit their applications online via the official website. A total of 5,636 Primary Teacher vacancies are available, and the application window will remain open until December 6.


Application Fee Details


The fee structure for the REET Mains Primary Teacher application is set at ₹600 for General and OBC applicants, while SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled candidates from Rajasthan will pay ₹400.


Required Educational Qualifications


Candidates must have completed higher secondary education with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution in India and hold a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Alternatively, candidates can qualify with a B.Ed. degree along with the required marks. Additional eligibility criteria must also be satisfied.


Age Requirements


Applicants should be a minimum of 18 years old and must not exceed 40 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to special categories.


Exam Schedule


The RSSB plans to conduct the examination from January 17 to January 21, 2026. The test will consist of 150 questions totaling 300 marks, with a duration of two hours and thirty minutes. Note that there will be a penalty of one-third of the marks for each incorrect answer.


Candidates can complete their online registration and fee payment until December 6, 2025.
