Rajasthan PSC Recruitment for Agriculture Professors

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the recruitment of 500 positions for Agriculture Professors within the Secondary Education Department. Aspiring candidates interested in becoming Agriculture School Lecturers in Rajasthan can expect the application process to commence on September 4, 2025. The deadline for submitting applications online is set for October 3, 2025, via the official RPSC website.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must possess a four-year degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized institution in India, along with a B.Ed degree. Additionally, applicants should be proficient in writing in the Hindi Devanagari script and have a good understanding of Rajasthan's culture.

The age criteria stipulate that candidates must be at least 21 years old and under 40 years of age. Age relaxations are applicable: candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories in Rajasthan will receive a 5-year extension, while SC, ST, and EWS women candidates will benefit from a 10-year relaxation. General category women will receive a 5-year age extension.

Application Fees

To apply, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 600 for general and OBC applicants, while SC, ST, EWS, and Divyang candidates will pay Rs 400.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a written examination, which will carry a total of 450 marks. The exam will consist of two papers: Paper-1 will be worth 150 marks, and Paper-2 will be worth 300 marks. All questions will be multiple-choice, and there will be a penalty of one-third of the marks for incorrect answers.
