A significant announcement has been made for individuals looking to secure government teaching roles. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is currently conducting recruitment for 6,500 Senior Teacher vacancies. The deadline for submitting applications is today, September 17, 2025. Candidates who have yet to apply can do so promptly by visiting the RPSC's official website or the SSO portal.


Eligibility Criteria for Applicants


To qualify for the Senior Teacher roles, candidates must possess a graduation degree along with a B.Ed. in the relevant subject area. The age requirement stipulates a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 40 years, with age calculations based on January 1, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will have age relaxations as per government regulations. It is advisable to refer to the official notification for detailed qualification criteria.


Application Process


Candidates can independently fill out the application form. To initiate the process, they must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission's website. This can be done by clicking on the 'Apply Online' link or by accessing the SSO portal and selecting the Recruitment Portal available in the Citizen App (G2C). After the OTR is completed, candidates can log in to the portal to finalize their application.


Application Fees


For the application, candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay a fee of ₹600, while those from SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and differently-abled categories need to pay ₹400.


Distribution of Posts by Subject


The recruitment drive will fill a total of 6,500 Senior Teacher positions across various subjects. The breakdown of posts is as follows: 1,052 for Hindi, 1,305 for English, 940 for Sanskrit, 1,385 for Mathematics, 1,355 for Science, 401 for Social Science, 48 for Urdu, 11 for Punjabi, 2 for Sindhi, and 1 for Gujarati.
