Rajasthan CET 2026 Overview

Rajasthan CET 2026: A significant announcement has been made for those preparing for the Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2026. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is gearing up to conduct the CET for both 12th-grade and graduation levels. The official notification for the CET 2026 is anticipated to be released soon, with application forms expected to be available in June and July. This information was shared by RSSB Chairman Alok Raj on Friday, who also noted that this year's exam will feature a new negative marking system.

Understanding the CET

The Rajasthan CET, organized by the RSSB, is a crucial preliminary examination. Only those who take this test can apply for various government positions in Rajasthan. The CET is divided into two levels: one for 12th-grade candidates and another for graduates. Those who pass the 12th-level CET can apply for jobs requiring a 12th-grade qualification, while graduates can seek positions that necessitate a bachelor's degree.

Recruitment Opportunities Linked to CET 2026

Validity and Recruitment Drives:

The Rajasthan CET 2026 holds significant importance as the RSSB has confirmed that the scores will be valid for three years. This means candidates can apply for government jobs based on their CET scores for up to three years. Furthermore, the RSSB's recruitment calendar indicates that 19 recruitment drives will be conducted based on CET scores, covering positions from Constables to Village Development Officers (VDOs). Notably, the CET was not held in 2025, which affected the LDC recruitment process.
