Indian Railways Recruitment News: 9000+ Technician Posts Open - Know Details

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a short notice announcing the recruitment of over 9000 technicians. Selection will be based on performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT), scheduled for October to December 2024. The online application process is set to commence in March and April 2024.

RRB Technician 2024 Overview:

• Recruitment Process: Candidates will be selected to work as technicians in various regional RRBs, involving tasks such as inspecting and testing railway rolling tracks, maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, and ensuring safety standards compliance.

• Selection Procedure: The process includes a medical examination, document verification, CBT 1, CBT 2, and may involve a typing test, skill test, or computer-based aptitude test.

• Application Process:

  1. Visit the RRB website.
  2. Click on the New Registration button to initiate the process.
  3. Fill out the RRB Technician application form with basic information.
  4. Receive a link on your registered email for further steps.
  5. Complete the registration by clicking the provided link.
  6. Enter personal details, educational qualifications, and address.
  7. Choose the preferred exam city.
  8. Upload required documents, including signature and photo.
  9. Pay the application fee.
  10. Print a copy of the RRB NTPC application form for future reference.
