Candidates selected for Technician Grade-I will earn a starting salary of ₹29,200 per month, while those in Technician Grade-III will receive ₹19,900 per month. Additional railway allowances will also be available.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Technician Grade-III must have completed their 10th grade. Additionally, relevant technical qualifications or engineering credentials are necessary. The age requirements are 18 to 33 years for Grade-I and 18 to 30 years for Grade-III. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories, with a five-year extension for SC and ST candidates and three years for OBC candidates.


Selection Process

How Will Candidates Be Selected?


Selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will include 100 multiple-choice questions covering topics such as General Awareness, Mathematics, Reasoning, General Intelligence, and Computer Knowledge. The total score for the exam is 100 marks, with a penalty of one-third of a mark for each incorrect answer.
