The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a brief notification regarding the NTPC Recruitment for the years 2025-26, with a total of 8,875 positions available. These roles encompass various job titles, including Station Masters, Goods Guards, Commercial Clerks, Accounts Clerks, Junior Typists, Trains Clerks, Senior Clerks cum Typists, Traffic Assistants, among others.
Out of the total vacancies, 5,817 are designated for graduates, while 3,058 are open to candidates who have completed their 12th grade. The application window is anticipated to open between October and November 2025.
Candidates from both 12th-grade and graduate backgrounds are eligible to apply for this recruitment drive. Interested individuals can submit their applications online through the official website of their respective regional RRB.
For undergraduate positions, the minimum age requirement is 18 years, with a maximum age limit of 30 years. Graduate-level positions have a maximum age limit of 33 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and ex-servicemen in accordance with government policies.
Selected candidates will receive compensation as per the Seventh Pay Commission (7th CPC). The selection process for the RRB NTPC recruitment will consist of multiple stages, starting with a Computer-Based Test (CBT-1 and CBT-2), followed by a skill test, typing test, or aptitude test depending on the specific position. The final stages will include document verification and a medical fitness assessment.
The application fee is set at ₹500 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories. Candidates from SC, ST, PwD, women, and ex-servicemen categories will only need to pay ₹250.
