Overview of Apprenticeship Recruitment

The Railway Recruitment Board has issued a notification regarding the recruitment of apprentices. Aspiring candidates can start submitting their applications from February 21st. This initiative aims to fill more than 5,000 apprenticeship roles. Eligible candidates have until March 23rd, 2026, to apply.

Age Requirements

Applicants must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years. There are provisions for age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories: SC and ST applicants can benefit from a five-year extension, OBC candidates from three years, and individuals with disabilities can receive a ten-year extension.

Educational Criteria

Candidates should have completed their Class 10th and 12th education from a recognized institution in India. Additionally, they must hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

Application Fee Details

All applicants are required to pay a registration fee. For unreserved candidates, the fee is set at ₹100. However, SC/ST, disabled, and female candidates are exempt from this fee.
