Railway Group D Exam Schedule Released

The Railway Recruitment Board has officially announced the schedule for the Railway Group D Recruitment Exam. This update is crucial for candidates who have submitted their applications.

Exam Dates

As per the released schedule, the computer-based examination (CBT) will commence on November 17, 2025, and will conclude by the end of December 2025. Those who successfully complete the CBT will then proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by document verification and a medical examination.

Exam City and Call Letters

Approximately 10 days prior to the exam, candidates will be able to access the link to check their exam city and date, as well as download travel information for SC/ST candidates on the official RRB websites. Call letters will be available for download about four days before the scheduled exam date.

Exam Pattern

The exam will last for 90 minutes and consist of 100 questions. The distribution of questions will be as follows: 25 questions from General Science, 25 from Mathematics, 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning, and 20 from General Awareness and Current Affairs. Note that there will be negative marking, with a deduction of 1/3 marks for each incorrect answer.

The minimum qualifying marks vary by community: 40% for UR and EWS candidates, and 30% for OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, and ST candidates. For eligible Divyaangjan candidates using a scribe, the exam duration will be extended to 120 minutes.
