Eligibility Criteria for RWF Apprenticeship

Eligibility Requirements:



  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed the 10th standard (or equivalent) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. Additionally, a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade is required, recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

  • Age Limit: Applicants should be between 15 and 24 years old as of March 1, 2026. Age relaxation applies as per government regulations: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.


Stipend and Application Details

Stipend Information:



  • During the apprenticeship, apprentices in the Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, and Electronic Mechanic trades will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,261. For the CNC Programming-cum-Operator trade, the stipend is ₹10,899.

  • Selection Process: A merit list will be created based on 10th-grade marks.

  • Application Fee: ₹100; no fee for SC/ST/Differently-abled/Female candidates.

  • Required Documents: 10th-grade marksheet, National Trade Certificate, Caste Certificate, two self-attested passport-sized photographs, and any additional qualification documents.

  • Application Deadline: April 1, 2026

  • Merit List Publication: 45 days after the application period ends.

  • Training Start Date: 15 days after the merit list is published.
