Punjab PTI Recruitment 2026: The Punjab School Education Recruitment Directorate has announced the recruitment notification for Physical Training Instructors (PTI) on July 31, 2026. This initiative aims to fill 2,000 vacancies in the primary cadre.


Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 37 years. A minimum educational qualification of passing the 12th grade along with a two-year diploma or certificate in Physical Education (DPED/CPED) or an equivalent is required. The application window will be open from August 1 to August 31, 2026.

Application Process

Who can apply?


Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed the 12th grade and hold a two-year diploma or certificate in Physical Education (DPED/CPED) or an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year of their DPED/CPED course may also apply, provided they complete their diploma before the final merit list is published.


Age Limit: The age of candidates will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. Applicants must be between 18 and 37 years old, with age relaxation available for reserved categories as per government rules.


Application Fees:
General and other category candidates must pay an application fee of ₹2,000, while SC and ST candidates are required to pay ₹1,000. Ex-Servicemen are exempt from the application fee.


Salary Details:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹29,200 during their three-year probation period, with no additional allowances applicable.
