Overview of Recruitment

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications Required:

- Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education. Punjabi or Hindi should have been studied as a subject in matriculation.

- A minimum of 2 years of driving experience is mandatory.

- Candidates must not have been convicted of any offense related to reckless driving.

Selection Process

How Candidates Will Be Selected:

- Selection for the driver position will be based on a practical test and an interview. Selected candidates will initially work on a probationary basis and will be compensated according to the daily wage set by the Chandigarh administration.

- For the fresh positions, candidates will undergo a 50-mark interview, where scores will be awarded based on qualifications and conduct. Subsequently, four times the number of vacancies will be called for a Physical Endurance Test (PET).
