Last year, Indian students constituted 11% of the foreign student population in New Zealand, with a remarkable 34% increase in their numbers. At Otago University, admissions for Indian students rose by 45% in 2024. To cater to this growing demand, the university is offering scholarships to entice more Indian students.

Scholarship Benefits:

Students enrolling in undergraduate programs will receive a scholarship of approximately Rs 8 lakh. Those with outstanding academic performance may qualify for scholarships up to Rs 23 lakh.

Additionally, the first-year hostel fees will be waived, providing significant financial relief to students.

In collaboration with OneStep Global, the university has launched a special initiative called 'Otago Experience Student Outreach.' This program will debut in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
