Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) has initiated the online application process for the role of Administrative Officer. This presents a significant opportunity for individuals aspiring to join OICL as Administrative Officers. The company is looking to fill a total of 300 positions, which includes 285 Generalist roles and 15 positions for Hindi Official Language Officers. The application window opened on December 1st and will remain open until December 15th.


Eligibility Requirements

Generalist Position: Applicants must possess a bachelor's or master's degree with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized institution in India.


Hindi Official Language Position: Candidates should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Hindi or English from a recognized institution.


Age Criteria

The age of candidates will be calculated as of January 30, 2025. The minimum age requirement is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is set at 30 years.


Age relaxation is available for candidates from specific categories: SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, OBC candidates are granted a 3-year relaxation, and candidates with disabilities can avail a 10-year relaxation.


Selection Process

Examination Structure: The selection will involve a preliminary examination followed by a main examination. The preliminary exam consists of multiple-choice questions worth 100 marks, covering English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude, with a duration of one hour.


Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will advance to the main examination, which includes 200 questions for a total of 200 marks. Successful candidates from the main exam will then be invited for an interview.


Application Fees

Fee Structure: All applicants are required to pay an application fee. For SC, ST, and disabled candidates, the fee is set at Rs 250, while unreserved category candidates must pay Rs 1000.
