NTPC Recruitment 2026: NTPC Limited has announced openings for 135 Deputy Manager roles in the Electrical, Mechanical, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) sectors. The breakdown of vacancies includes 40 for Deputy Manager (Electrical), 55 for Deputy Manager (Mechanical), and 40 for Deputy Manager (C&I). Below are the eligibility requirements and the application process for these positions.


Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Recruitment 2026

Mechanical Post: Candidates must possess a BE or B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering from a recognized institution, with a minimum of 60% marks. Additionally, applicants should have at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification executive experience in the power sector.


C&I Post: Applicants need a BE or B.Tech degree in Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university, also with a minimum of 60% marks. A similar requirement of 10 years of relevant post-qualification executive experience in the power sector applies.


Age Limit

The upper age limit for all three positions is set at 40 years. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.


Application Process

How to Apply: Interested candidates can submit their applications online via the 'Careers' section on the official NTPC website. The application window opened on August 12 and will close on August 26.


Application Fee: Candidates from the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹500. However, those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempt from this fee.


It is essential for applicants to upload all required documents during the online application process. Applications lacking complete or adequate documentation may be rejected.
