NTPC Recruitment 2026: NTPC Limited has announced the opening of applications for 135 Deputy Manager roles in the Electrical, Mechanical, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) sectors. The breakdown of vacancies includes 40 positions for Deputy Manager (Electrical), 55 for Deputy Manager (Mechanical), and 40 for Deputy Manager (C&I). Eligibility Criteria

Mechanical Positions: Candidates must possess a BE or B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering from a recognized institution, with a minimum of 60% marks. Additionally, applicants should have at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification executive experience in the power sector.


C&I Positions: Applicants are required to have a BE or B.Tech degree in Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university, also with a minimum of 60% marks. A similar 10 years of relevant post-qualification executive experience in the power sector is necessary.


Age Limit

The upper age limit for all three positions is set at 40 years. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.


Application Process

How to Apply: Interested candidates can submit their applications online via the 'Careers' section on NTPC's official website. The application window opened on August 12 and will remain open until August 26.


Application Fee

Applicants from the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹500. However, candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempt from this fee. It is essential for applicants to upload all required documents during the online application process, as incomplete submissions may lead to rejection.
