SWAYAM 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the application process for the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) exam for the July Semester 2025. Interested candidates can submit their applications online by visiting the official site at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam. The examination is scheduled to take place from December 11 to 14, 2025.

The deadline for submitting applications is October 30, 2025. Candidates can pay the application fee until October 31, 2025. Additionally, there will be a correction window for application forms from November 1 to 3, 2025.


Exam Format and Schedule

Exam Pattern and Timing:


The SWAYAM exam will be conducted in a hybrid format, offering both computer-based and pen-and-paper options. It will take place in two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM. A total of 648 courses will be available for candidates.


Required Documents for Application

Documents Needed:


Applicants must upload scanned copies of their passport-sized photographs, signatures, and relevant certificates. The photograph should have a white background, with 80% of the face visible, and must be between 10 KB and 200 KB in size. The signature should range from 10 KB to 50 KB, while certificates can be uploaded in PDF format, sized between 50 KB and 300 KB.

The application fees differ based on the candidate's category:


1. General Category: ₹750 for the first course and ₹600 for each additional course.


2. EWS/OBCNCL/SC/ST/PwD/PwBD categories: ₹500 for the first course and ₹400 for each additional course.


This exam is held biannually in January and July sessions. Candidates are encouraged to thoroughly review all guidelines before applying and to meet the specified deadlines.
