CSIR-UGC NET December 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the application process for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) for December 2026. Application Submission Deadlines:
Applications for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 can be completed online. The deadline for submitting applications without a late fee is 11:50 PM on November 5. For those who miss this date, applications will be accepted from November 6 to November 9, but a late fee of ₹500 will apply.
Correction Window Available:
Candidates will have the opportunity to correct their application forms after submission. The correction period will be open from November 10 to November 12, 2026, as per the NTA's schedule.
Exam Dates and Format:
The CSIR-UGC NET December 2026 exam is set to take place over three days: December 19, 22, and 27, 2026. Each day will feature two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Exam Structure and Subjects:
The CSIR-UGC NET will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) lasting 180 minutes. The exam will be available in both Hindi and English, covering five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
