It is important to note that this recruitment is for apprenticeship training only, and selected candidates will not be offered direct employment but will undergo training in various railway departments. Details of the Apprenticeship Program:
Northern Railway is set to initiate a large-scale recruitment for apprentice roles in 2025. The online application process for the 4,116 vacancies will commence on November 25, 2025, and will close on December 24, 2025. The merit list is anticipated to be published in February 2026. The Railways has emphasized that this apprenticeship is strictly a training program and does not assure permanent employment.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Requirements:
Applicants must have completed their 10th grade from a recognized educational board. Additionally, an ITI certificate in a relevant trade recognized by NCVT or SCVT is mandatory. Candidates who are awaiting their 10th-grade or ITI results are not eligible to apply. The age range for applicants is set between 15 to 24 years, with age relaxation of 3 to 10 years available for candidates from reserved categories as per existing regulations.
