NMDC Steel Limited Recruitment Notification

NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) has released a notification for the recruitment of Trade Apprentices for the year 2026. Candidates aspiring for a good job are encouraged to apply for these positions soon. A total of 100 vacancies are available under this recruitment for roles such as CO/PA, Welder, Fitter, and Electrician. Interested and eligible candidates who have completed their ITI can participate in the walk-in interview scheduled for January 2026. The recruitment will take place at the 3.0 MTPA steel plant located in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh.

Details of Available Positions

NMDC Steel Limited has announced a total of 100 positions for Trade Apprentices. Among these, 40 positions are allocated for CO/PA, while 20 positions each are available for Welder, Fitter (Mechanical), and Electrician trades.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this recruitment, candidates must possess an ITI trade certificate in CO/PA, Welder, Fitter, or Electrician from a recognized institution. The course duration for CO/PA and Welder should be one year, while Fitter and Electrician courses should last for two years. Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) before attending the walk-in interview. Those who have already completed similar training are not eligible to apply. Reservations for SC, ST, and OBC candidates will be provided as per government regulations, and valid caste certificates must be presented.

Walk-in Interview Location

The walk-in interview will be held at the HRD Center of NMDC Steel Limited (NSL), located at Studio Apartment, Chokawada, District Bastar, Chhattisgarh 494001. Interested candidates should bring their resume and self-attested photocopies of all certificates. Additionally, registration must be completed by 9:00 AM on the day of the interview.
