NHPC Recruitment Overview



The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has announced a recruitment drive for various non-executive roles. Interested candidates can apply through the official NHPC website. The recruitment includes positions such as Assistant Rajbhasha, Junior Engineer, Supervisor, Senior Accountant, and Hindi Translator. The application process will commence on September 2 at 10 AM and will close on October 1, 2025.


Salary Structure

Salary Ranges for Non-Executive Positions:



  • Assistant Official Language: ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000 per month


  • Junior Engineer: ₹29,600 to ₹1,19,500 per month


  • Supervisor: ₹29,600 to ₹1,19,500 per month


  • Senior Accountant: ₹29,600 to ₹1,19,500 per month


  • Hindi Translator: ₹27,000 to ₹1,05,000 per month



Age Limit and Relaxation

Candidates must be a maximum of 30 years old to apply. However, age relaxation is available: SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year extension, OBC candidates get a 3-year extension, and Divyang candidates are allowed a 10-year extension.


Application Fee Details

An online application fee is required. For general, OBC, and EWS candidates, the fee is set at ₹600. SC, ST, Divyang, and female candidates are eligible for fee relaxation.


Selection Process

Selection will be based on a written examination consisting of multiple-choice questions totaling 200 marks, covering general awareness and reasoning. Note that there will be a penalty of one-fourth of the marks for incorrect answers.
