Educational Qualifications Required

Educational Qualifications for Various Posts:



  • Assistant Rajbhasha Adhikari: Graduation in Hindi with English as an optional subject or a post-graduation in English with Hindi as an optional subject.

  • Junior Engineer: Full-time Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized institution.

  • Supervisor (IT): Completion of DOEACC 'A' level course, a year Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/IT, or a BCA/BSc in Computer Science/IT with a minimum of 60% marks.

  • Senior Accountant/S1: Must be an Inter CA or Inter CMA pass.

  • Hindi Translator: Post-graduation in Hindi or English with the respective language as an optional subject.


Application Fee and Exam Details

Application Fee: Candidates from General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay ₹ 600 plus applicable taxes, totaling ₹ 708. There is no fee for SC, ST, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen, and Women candidates.


Exam Medium and Duration: The examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi, lasting 3 hours with a total of 200 marks.

Exam Pattern Overview:



  • For Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/E&C), Supervisor (IT), and Senior Accountant: Part I includes 140 MCQs from the relevant subject, Part II has 30 MCQs on General Awareness, and Part III contains 30 MCQs on Reasoning.

  • For Assistant Rajbhasha Adhikari and Hindi Translator: Part I consists of 40 MCQs and 10 descriptive questions (each worth 10 marks), Part II has 30 MCQs on General Awareness, and Part III includes 30 MCQs on Reasoning.


Each correct answer earns 1 mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for incorrect answers. Unanswered questions do not affect the score.
