NEET UG Exam 2026 Conducted Under Strict Security in Greater Noida
NEET UG Exam 2026 Takes Place in Greater Noida
Greater Noida: Today, the NEET UG Exam 2026 is being held across 25 centers in Gautam Buddh Nagar. Candidates faced rigorous security checks upon entering the examination venues. During the three-phase screening process, candidates were required to remove items such as 'kalawa' from their wrists. Girls were not allowed to wear jewelry, leading to some concerns about the safety of their valuables, although those whose parents were present at the entrance experienced less anxiety.
Security Checks Conducted in Three Phases
At Kumari Mayawati Government Inter College in Badalpur, candidates underwent a three-step security screening. Initially, their admission tickets were verified. Following this, they passed through a metal detector, and finally, their identities were confirmed through eye scans. Candidates were instructed to arrive at the exam centers three hours prior to the start of the exam to facilitate this entire process.
Exam Scheduled to Start at 2 PM
According to District School Inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh, the NEET exam is set to commence at 2 PM today. A total of 25 examination centers have been established in the district, accommodating approximately 8,000 candidates. To ensure a smooth process, candidates were asked to arrive by 11 AM to complete the security checks and entry procedures without any inconvenience.
Jammers Installed at All Centers
The District School Inspector mentioned that jammers have been installed at all centers to prevent mobile network access and deter any unauthorized activities. He emphasized that strict action would be taken against any candidate caught engaging in misconduct, with static magistrates deployed for oversight. The guidelines provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are being followed meticulously, including a ban on electronic devices. Many candidates were also required to remove earrings, rings, and 'kalawa' during the checks.
